Energy Research Department under Mandalay Technological University produces engineers in the field of nuclear technology. Nuclear technology is inevitable in today’s world. It’s been applied as the most powerful tool in world’s top developed countries. This technology is the only thing that can promote your living standard in many ways.  This nuclear engineering program is to provide the best education in science and engineering areas relevant to effective understanding and utilization of nuclear processes to benefit society in an economically and environmentally sustainable world.

History

Mission

Bachelor, Master and Ph.D programs on nuclear technology were implemented under the Department of Chemical Engineering at Yangon Technological University since 1997. These programs were transferred to Mandalay Technological University in 2006. Energy Research Department was established in 2009 and it offered Master and Ph.D degrees. The products of this department are 6 Master degree holders and 24 Ph.D degree holders.
