About Us

Mechatronics is the synergistic integration of precision mechanical engineering, electronic control and intelligent computer control in the design and manufacturing of industrial products and processes. It is a relatively new concept relating to the design of system, devices, and product aimed at achieving an optimal balance between basic mechanical structure and its overall control.

To ensure that our undergraduate and graduate programs are qualified, the following facilities that have been assembled:

  • Control system laboratory
  • Basic Mechatronic laboratory
  • Departmental library where the students can study the knowledge about the mechatronic engineering and other areas.

Department of Mechatronic Engineering, Mandalay Technological University has been established in 2005.

Vision

  • To be a leading research and educational Mechatronic department, offering program with emphasis on the design, development and control of diverse systems used in a range of industries including manufacturing, medicine and the service industries.

Mission

  • To train students with practical knowledge of mechatronics engineering, strong skills of control engineers and industrial engineers.
