To ensure that our undergraduate and graduate programs are qualified, the following facilities that have been assembled:
The Department of Engineering Chemistry is started in 1992 along with the establishment of the Mandalay Technological University, formerly known as Mandalay Institute of Technology.
The Department of Engineering Chemistry provide, through well designed studies of experimental and practical science and through an emphasis on the understanding and application of scientific concepts and principles, a worthwhile educational experience for all students (engineers) to enable them to acquire sufficient understanding and knowledge:
to become confident citizens in a technological world
to recognize the usefulness of “Chemistry” and to appreciate its applicability in other disciplines and in everyday life.
To produce capable and talented engineers, architects, technologists and academicians who can successfully solve the problems by applying learned- studies with rational thinking based on knowledge of chemistry for public welfare and nation building.
